AutoblogVR brings car enthusiasts exclusive access to immersive 360 videos. New content is added frequently, giving users the opportunity to step inside one-of-a-kind automotive experiences.
Early on the decision was made to orient the entire app in landscape. This bold approach was adopted to minimize inconveniences that might arise for users as they prepare their VR headset. Much of the user experience strategy was dedicated to ensuring ease for users around selecting videos and how they want to view the videos during playback. Users can swipe through featured videos, or select a subset of videos based on their interests—Automaker, Environment, Location, or Host. During videoplay, the user always has the option to switch between normal or VR viewer mode.
